The Cleveland Browns simply cannot catch a break right now.
With Deshaun Watson out for the season, it’s more than evident that they need everybody else to step up big-time.
With that in mind, Ken Carman and Anthony Lima discussed Myles Garrett’s importance ahead of Sunday’s must-win clash vs. the Los Angeles Rams.
Per the analysts, Garrett is actually more important than any potential quarterback, as the Browns have already proven that they can win games in spite of their poor QB play all season long (via 92.3 The Fan).

They argued that the sole reason why the Browns have been able to overcome their subpar QB situation is because of Garrett, as he’s been the most dominant force on their defensive unit.
They also stated that, given the fact that he’s not a quarterback, they don’t even need him to be fully healthy to be able to make an impact.
On the flip side, not having the best pass rusher in the game being double or triple-teamed on every single snap is going to make it quite difficult for the Browns, and Za’Darius Smith might not be able to handle the load on his own.
Garrett should be at the top of the MVP and Defensive Player of the Year conversations right now, and the fact that this team is 7-4 is living proof of the fact that he’s the best defender on Earth right now.
Hopefully, he’ll keep it going on Sunday at SoFi Stadium in the visit to the Rams.
