The Cleveland Browns simply cannot catch a break right now.
Football is a physical sport, and it’s normal to see teams getting banged up as we head to the finish line, but the injury bug has bitten this team way too many times this season already.
On top of Deshaun Watson and Nick Chubb missing time with injuries, now the team has two crucial absences in the offensive line, and both Dawand Jones and Jedrick Wills will be out for the remainder of the season.
With that in mind, ESPN Cleveland insider Toni Grossi revealed that the team could likely look at practice squad member Alex Leatherwood, who’s been bypassed multiple times in favor of other players, or Leroy Watson, who’s been with the active roster since being claimed.

However, he did state that another injury to the offensive line could force them to move Joel Bitonio to tackle, all while Michael Dunn moved to left guard.
Truth be told, it’s hard to wonder what else could go wrong for this Browns team right now, at least when it comes to health.
Even so, the team continues to march strong and is currently sitting on a respectable 8-5 record.
Having a makeshift offensive line to protect your veteran fourth-string quarterback is far from ideal.
Still, this team continues to find ways to get wins out of the mud, and it seems like they’re confident enough to take the field with the same winning attitude week in and week out regardless of who’s on the field.
