Betting Odds Show A Tough Season Ahead For The Browns

The Cleveland Browns are competing in one of the toughest divisions in the NFL.

Therefore, it isn’t surprising to have a wild finish for the AFC North title.

Last season, the Cincinnati Bengals won the division with a 10-7 record.

Not far behind were the Pittsburgh Steelers at 9-7-1 and the Baltimore Ravens at 8-9.

The Browns also finished at 8-9, putting them in third place.

They were 7-6 at one point, but three straight losses from Weeks 15 to 17 eliminated them from playoff contention.

For the 2022 season, BetOnline.ag has shared their odds for the AFC North title.

If these odds became reality, then the Browns’ drought for a division crown continues.

Current AFC North Division odds…

Ravens +160
Bengals +190#Browns +275
Steelers +800

WKYC sports anchor and reporter Nick Camino shared that the Ravens are favored to win at +160.

Meanwhile, the Bengals are not far behind at +190.

The Browns are third at +275 while the Steelers are at +800.

Essentially, BetOnline sees the AFC North battle as a three-team race.

In contrast, they are not optimistic about the Steelers’ chances after Ben Roethlisberger‘s retirement.

Anything Can Happen In Football

These odds serve as guides for bettors and should not be seen as the absolute outcome.

After all, stranger things have happened in the NFL and there have been teams who have completed one-year transformations from losers to winners.

The Ravens will be difficult to defeat if all of their starters are back to full health.

Likewise, the Bengals’ powerful offense will be a handful for any NFL team.

Even the Steelers can claim the division due to Mike Tomlin’s leadership and their elite defense.

Finally, the Browns have a defense that can stop their division rivals.

But they would be in a better position to win if they can generate a consistent passing game that will complement their effective run attack.
